Kelly Brush Candioli Dental Cleaning Sponges

Abrasive sponge for dog dental cleaning.

Guarantees thorough cleaning of teeth and gums and facilitates the removal of plaque and tartar.

How to use

Before use, for the operator's hygiene, wear disposable protective gloves (not included in the package).
Gradually accustom the animal (possibly from puppyhood) to manipulating the mouth, lifting the lips and massaging teeth and gums with disposable gloves, possibly spreading a suitable amount of specific toothpaste.
Repeat the operation for a few consecutive days.
After this initial period, apply the two KELLY BRUSH self-adhesive sponges to the thumb and forefinger of the hand, removing the protective paper placed on the back of each of them. Apply the shorter sponge on the thumb and the longer one on the index finger, adapting them to the shape of the finger.

The KELLY BRUSH sponges can be more easily applied on the fingers starting from the middle of the nails and covering the inner part of the finger. In case of use on cats or very small dogs it is possible to apply the sponge on a stick of suitable size.

After wetting the KELLY BRUSH sponges and applying a suitable amount of specific toothpaste on them, introduce your thumb and forefinger into the dog's mouth, always starting from the back, keeping the mouth closed and inserting the two fingers between the teeth and cheeks.

Exercise a gentle massage in the antero-posterior and supero-inferior direction, keeping the dog's head still with the other hand; around the canines, perform rotational movements with the fingertips coated with KELLY BRUSH.
At the end of the manual it may be useful to reward the animal with a bite of food that he particularly likes, to facilitate subsequent operations.

Warnings

Gloves and sponges must not be used on different animals, nor must they be recycled or washed for subsequent reuse.
If traces of blood are found on the sponges or on the glove after the massage, consult your veterinarian.
