KetoCal 4: 1 is a nutritionally complete powder formulation, with a high lipid content and low carbohydrate content, containing milk proteins and enriched with amino acids. Indications

KetoCal 4: 1 is indicated for the nutritional treatment of drug-resistant epilepsy and other conditions where the use of the ketogenic diet is indicated, for example carbohydrate metabolism disorders, such as pyruvate dehydrogenase deficiency and type 1 glucose transporter deficiency. .

Use and doses

The amount of formula and dilution should be determined by the physician or dietician, and depend on the age, weight and clinical condition of the patient.

The recommended dilution is 14.3% w / v (e.g. 14.3 g of product in 86 ml of water up to a final volume of 100 ml).

A higher dilution can be prescribed by the attending physician in relation to individual needs.
