Kindergen Nutricia Food Powder

Kindergen is a nutritionally complete powdered food with whole cow's milk whey proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and trace elements low in potassium, chlorine, calcium, phosphorus and vitamin A.

Indications

Kindergen is indicated in the dietary management of infants and children with chronic renal failure where rapid nocturnal peritoneal dialysis (PROD) or continuous peritoneal dialysis (CCPD) is required.

Important note

The powdered formula is not sterile so it is recommended, where possible, to prepare it immediately before administration and consume it within 1 hour.

Important warnings

Suitable as the sole source of nutrition for infants and as a supplement for children. Due to the low content of the product in potassium, chlorine, calcium, phosphorus and vitamin A, the levels of these elements must be monitored and possibly supplemented if required. Do not use injecting.

storage

Store in a dry place away from heat sources. Close the package tightly after use. Once the package has been opened, use the product within 1 month. Discard the reconstituted and unused product.

Dosage

The recommended dilution is 20% w / v (20g of Kindergen per 100ml of total solution) and provides approximately 1kcal / ml.
The recommended dilutions are purely indicative; the quantities must always be established by the doctor.
