100% compostable knives - Biodegradable
Alufix compostable knives are made of crystallized polylactic acid, a material better known as bioplastic (C-PLA), which derives from the fermentation and subsequent crystallization of corn starch. It is completely biodegradable and reducible to compost: the European DIN CERTCO compostability certification guarantees compliance with the principles of composting, biodegradability, disintegration, quality of the compost, and eco-toxicity, according to the EN 13432 standard. The compostable knives represent a functional and practical for every occasion, they are suitable for contact with any type of food and represent a 100% eco-friendly product. They resist heat up to a maximum temperature of 85°.
