Obtained by squeezing the seeds of Melia azadiracta L., Neem oil is characterized by a high content of polyunsaturated (over 60%) and unsaponifiable fatty acids that make it appreciated as an emollient and to promote cell renewal.
It has a characteristic odor and is traditionally also used to keep insects away.
