Characteristics
Chitosan, often used in low-calorie diets, is obtained from the shell of crustaceans and is an excellent adjuvant in the control of body weight as it has the power to bind to the lipids present in the intestine, reducing their systemic absorption.
Taken before main meals or in the evening, during the night's rest, it regulates the absorption of fats while the phytoextracts (Rhodiola, green tea) act on the basal metabolism.
