Glutamine is a non-essential amino acid which acts as essential in particular hypercatabolistic conditions (trauma, surgery, infections) and is therefore a conditionally essential nutrient.
In situations of deficit, when the body's needs increase, glutamine is taken from the muscles, the main site of its synthesis.
This amino acid, in fact, represents over 50% of the free amino acid pool in the muscle and is essential in situations of increased protein turnover, such as physical exercise.
The function of glutamine in muscle is essentially plastic, renewal and increase of muscle tissue.
During exercise, glutamine concentrations can decrease by up to 25% following strenuous activity, particularly for extreme and prolonged efforts, with the possibility of causing overtraining syndrome.
The decrease in plasma glutamine concentrations, in fact, has been observed in athletes with overtraining syndrome, with the reduction in performance associated with the increase in upper respiratory tract infections.

How to use
Take one (1) to five (5) grams per day, corresponding to one (1) - five (5) level scoops. Pour the powder into a glass of water, milk or fruit juice and mix until completely dissolved. Drink immediately. Consume away from meals, preferably avoiding the evening hours.

Do not use in pregnancy and in children, or in any case for prolonged periods without consulting a doctor. Protect from humidity, close the container well after use.
