The knäckebröt (in English crispbread) is a typical Swedish CRUNCHY BREAD, well known and appreciated throughout northern Europe; the word knäckebröt derives from knäcke, which is an onomatopoeic sound that imitates the sound of crunchy bread breaking. CRISPBREADs can be enjoyed as an alternative to bread, as a snack or as a base for preparing tasty canapés. Suitable for VEGAN nutrition, crispbreads are RICH IN FIBERS and represent a good SOURCE of PROTEIN.
