Sterile ophthalmic solution based on liposomes, vitamin A, vitamin E and amino acids that stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film, regulates and corrects the lubrication of the ocular surface.

Vitamins A and E, known for their soothing and emollient properties, in synergy with liposomes (hydrogenated phosphatylcholine), provide functional support to the lipid component present on the eyelid rim.
Furthermore, vitamins A and E as liposome stabilizers help to improve ocular and periocular symptoms associated with inflammatory states of allergic and / or infectious origin.
The amino acids L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride and L-leucine, contained in the product, increase the lubrication of the ocular surface and can contribute to improving the protection of epithelia subjected to various types of stress.
The lipid component of the tear film is fundamental in the containment function of the tear fluid, as well as in the control of its evaporation.
The use of LACRISEK Free ophthalmic solution assists the functionality of the lipid secretions of the glands of the ocular adnexa (Meibomian, Zeiss and Moll glands), contributing to the stabilization of the lipid component of the tear film.
It is indicated in subjective disorders during dry eye syndrome, such as foreign body sensation, burning and ocular itching, in dyslacrimias induced by qualitative inadequacy of the lipid layer of the tear film or in states that may involve ocular redness, often found in vary some environmental parameters (wind, microclimate).

How to use

The product is instilled directly on the ocular surface according to the following dosage schedule: instill 1-2 drops in the conjunctival sac 4 times a day or as needed or as advised by the attending physician.

Ingrediants

Retinyl palmitate (vitamin A), α-tocopherol (vitamin E), hydrogenated phospholipids, monobasic sodium phosphate, dibasic sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride and L-leucine.
