Lanaflex Nutricia Diet Food For Special Medical Purposes

Lanaflex is a phenylalanine-free powdered food flavored with orange with neutral amino acids, lysine, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Indications

Lanaflex is indicated in the dietary management of phenylketonuria in adults not following a phenylalanine-free diet.

Use and dose

The diet must be supplemented with natural proteins and other nutrients, in the quantities prescribed by the doctor to meet the required needs. The recommended amount of Lanaflex is 0.8g of powder per kg of body weight per day.
This quantity must be distributed throughout the day divided into three or more portions to be taken with meals.
Do not exceed a total dose of 47.4g of powder per day (3 sachets). It is recommended to prepare Lanaflex with a dilution of 1: 4. In a container fitted with a screw cap, pour 60 ml of cold water, add a bag of Lanaflex and shake until dissolved.
The product is best when consumed immediately.

Osmolality

The osmolality of Lanaflex at the recommended dilution is 1350 mosm / Kg.

Important note

The powdered formula is not sterile so it is recommended, where possible, to prepare it immediately before administration and consume it within 1 hour.
Throw away the unused product.
