How do i measure my blood glucose?

The blood for the measurement is usually taken from the capillary circulation through a small hole made on the tip of the finger, while the measurement of the glycemic rate takes place through the quantification of the enzymatic reaction of oxidation of glucose, proportional to its concentration in the blood.

The device uses the impedancemetric method, i.e. the electrical conductivity of the blood itself is measured, induced by the current generated by the redox reaction itself.

The more intense the reaction, the higher the value observed on the display.

OGCARE strips allow the determination of glucose in both capillary whole blood and venous blood.

How to use

We recommend: Wash your hands thoroughly before taking the measurement.

Use the lancet in use to prick the fingertip and take the drop of blood. Place the drop of blood on the tip of the test strip.

Insert the strip into the meter and wait for the results.

Read the blood glucose value on the meter display.

Warnings

It is recommended to store the product at a temperature between 2 ° C and 32 ° C, in order to maintain its functional integrity.

Do not use beyond the expiration date.
