INDICATIONS

Symptomatic treatment of gonarthrosis.

The Arthrum Visc 75 Mono Injection viscoelastic device is recommended to reduce pain and restore joint mobility by replacing and supplementing the elastoviscosity of the pathological synovial fluid of osteoarthritis joints.

Therapeutic indications are all types of painful gonarthrosis

• Primary gonarthrosis (radiological stages of kelgreen I, II and III).
• Gonarthrosis and the general factors associated with it: ineffectiveness of usual treatments, intolerance and / or contraindication to NSAIDs and / or analgesics, use of anticoagulants, multimedication (hypertension, diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular and gastrointestinal problems), contraindications relating to the positioning of a prosthesis (subject young) and various contraindications related to the patient's condition.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• An intra-articular injection in the knee. A second injection can be performed between the first and third month if the patient's painful symptoms justify it.
• Open the single sterility protector aseptically.
• Take the syringe aseptically.
• Screw the injection needle onto the tip of the luer lock after removing the tip cap without touching the tip of the syringe with your finger.
• Proceed to intra-articular injection.
• Single use. The syringe and needle must be disposed of immediately after use, in a specific disposable waste box.

WARNINGS

Do not inject intravascularly.

INCOMPATIBILITY

Do not use quaternary ammonium (benzalkonium chloride) for skin disinfection during intra-articular injection of Arthrum Visc 75 Mono.

SIDE EFFECTS

Arthrum Visc 75 Mono Injection is well tolerated. Sometimes, for 48 hours, pain may occur. It is recommended to apply an ice blister for a few hours.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

All inflammatory diseases of the joint that must be treated before starting treatment with intra-articular injection of Arthrum Visc 75 Mono Injection.

Do not administer if the patient has known hypersensitivity to sodium hyaluronate.
