Directions:
Antibacterial antiseptic for the disinfection of hands and skin in general.
It is indicated for disinfecting the hands of operating room staff and healthcare personnel in general.
It can be used to disinfect the area being surgically operated on.

How to use:
it is used pure, without dilution, applying it with gauze or cotton wool. It is not necessary to rinse after use. The contact time is 1 minute.

Characteristics:
the spectrum of action is broad and includes the vegetative forms of Grampositive and negative bacteria, it also acts on fungi and viruses. The pH range in which chlorhexidine is most effective is between 5.5 and 7, therefore corresponding to that of the body's surfaces.
Chlorhexine is a molecule that owes its disinfectant power to the fact that it is made up of a cationic compound with lipophilic groups.
Clear, colorless solution, with an alcoholic odor. Specific weight: 0.80-0.90 g/ml, pH 6.5± 0.5.
Available in 250, 500, 1000 and 5000 ml polyethylene bottles; single-dose container of 5, 10, 25 g.

Toxicity:
tests on healthy skin: patch tests do not cause any reaction after 96 hours of contact; the tests repeated after 2 weeks did not reveal any intolerable phenomena even after a further 48 hours of contact.
Absence of systemic effects: this demonstrates that the product has no systemic action and therefore has exclusive local action.

Warnings:
for external use only. Do not swallow.
Keep out of reach of children.
Not to be used on damaged skin and mucous membranes.
Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
Do not use at the same time as soaps or anionic surfactants.
In case of accident or feeling unwell, consult your doctor (show him the label if possible).
Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
Store the product in the original packaging in a cool, clean and dry environment, away from high heat sources and not exposed to direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly closed and away from food, feed and drinks.
The validity period of 36 months refers to the product in its intact and correctly stored container.
The product maintains the same validity, as long as it acts in such a way as not to cause pollution of the contents.
Do not reuse the container.
Dispose of in accordance with local wastewater regulations.

Components:
100 g. of solution contain:
chlorhexidine digluconate 0.5 g; ethyl alcohol 60 g; co-formulants; purified water to taste at 100 g.
