Libramed what it is for
It helps to control the postprandial glycemic peak by slowing and reducing the absorption of carbohydrates and fats.
Libramed , thanks to Policaptil Gel Retard , acts in the intestine by forming a highly viscous gel that promotes the control of the postprandial glycemic peak, reducing the quantity and speed of carbohydrate absorption (retard effect). This also leads to a reduction in the sense of hunger and postprandial sleepiness. Furthermore, with the same mechanism, Policaptil Gel Retard® limits the absorption of fats, promotes intestinal transit and regulates the consistency of the stool.

How to use Libramed Tablets
| Adults and children over 12 years old | 3 tablets before the two main meals |
| Children between 8 and 12 years old | 2 tablets before the two main meals |
Take the indicated dose with a large glass of water, taking care to ingest one tablet at a time. Do not chew or break the tablet with your teeth.
For those who have swallowing problems, it is possible to dissolve the Libramed tablets in warm water or unsweetened herbal teas, shaking until completely dissolved. The resulting drink must be swallowed within a few minutes, before the gel is formed.
Libramed warnings
For those who have swallowing problems, direct ingestion of the tablets is not recommended, which must be previously dissolved. It is recommended to take the product at least two hours after taking drugs to avoid a possible interaction with their absorption.
Do not take during pregnancy and lactation.
In subjects undergoing drug treatment for diabetes and hyperlipedemias, it is advisable to seek the doctor's opinion to assess the need for a possible change in drug dosages. Do not use if hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components is present. Store at room temperature, away from heat sources and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date refers to the intact and correctly stored product.
The product does not replace a varied diet. Follow a low-calorie diet and regular physical activity. In case of diet followed for prolonged periods, beyond three weeks, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
