Libramed, thanks to Policaptil Gel Retard® , acts in the intestine, forming a highly viscous gel that favors the control of the postprandial glycemic peak, reducing the quantity and speed of carbohydrate absorption (retard effect).

This also leads to a reduction in the sense of hunger and postprandial sleepiness. Furthermore, with the same mechanism, Policaptil Gel Retard® limits the absorption of fats, promotes intestinal transit and regulates the consistency of the stool.

INDICATIONS
Libramed, associated with a balanced diet, adequate fluid intake and regular physical activity, thanks to its mechanism of action, is indicated for weight control in adults and children from 12 years of age .

HOW TO USE

Take one sachet of granular Libramed before the two main meals, adding 100 ml of water (equal to half a glass) to the contents of the sachet. Mix thoroughly until a good dispersion is obtained and take immediately afterwards. At the end drink another glass of water.

Considering the high gelling power of the product, it is preferable to ingest the drink obtained before the gel is formed.

The product must not be taken directly in the mouth, to be consumed strictly after dispersion in water.

WARNINGS

It is recommended to take the product at least two hours after taking drugs to avoid a possible interaction with their absorption. Do not take during pregnancy and lactation. It is not a buccal product, disperse in water before taking.

In subjects undergoing drug treatment for diabetes and hyperlipedemias, it is advisable to seek the doctor's opinion to assess the need for a possible change in drug dosages. Do not use if hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components is present. Store at room temperature, away from heat sources and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date refers to the intact and correctly stored product.

The product does not replace a varied diet. Follow a low-calorie diet and regular physical activity. In case of diet followed for prolonged periods, beyond three weeks, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
