From Giuliani Dermatological Research comes Lichtena® DERMOSOLARI Bimbi, a line of specific sun treatments for children, conceived following the dermatological guidelines on sun protection, and particularly indicated in cases of sensitive or reactive skin.

Children's skin is still developing and this is why it is even more fragile than that of adults, especially in the sun. The stratum corneum is in fact thinner and more exposed to the harmful action of UV rays, the immune system is not fully developed, the production of melanin is not yet well organized and the protective hydrolipidic film is not fully formed.

The new Lichtena® DERMOSOLAR Bimbi protective products meet the specific needs of children's skin, ensuring effective protection while respecting their vulnerable and reactive skin, aimed at preventing the onset of erythema and redness and reinforcing the skin barrier.

To ensure safe and effective protection against damage caused by UVA and UVB rays, Giuliani Dermatological Research has developed Lichtena® DERMOSOLARI Baby Milk Spray SPF 50+ (Very High Protection), a light consistency milk in spray format.

Formulated to preserve the well-being of children's sensitive and reactive skin, it is enriched with a latest generation, photostable and skin-compatible filtering system, which combines chemical and physical filters.

The formula of Lichtena® DERMOSOLARI Spray Milk SPF 50+ contains the exclusive ELIOSAN3 Complex which, thanks to its active ingredients, ensures a triple action:

• Anti erythema: substances with soothing and anti-redness properties - Vitamin E, Glycyrrhetic Acid and Bisabolol - protect the skin and help prevent the onset of redness, irritation and sunburn.
• Moisturizing: an exclusive extract from the leaves of the Prickly Pear hydrates deeply and for a long time, limiting the dehydration that often accompanies sun exposure. The emollient active ingredients, on the other hand, protect and strengthen the physiological hydrolipidic barrier of protection of the skin.
• Antioxidant: thanks to Radicare® and its active ingredients of natural origin, it protects cellular DNA from damage caused by free radicals, inhibiting their formation and thus increasing the skin's defenses against UV-induced oxidative stress.

The formula of Lichtena® DERMOSOLARI Baby Milk Spray SPF 50+ is water resistant and is free of Parabens, Phenoxyethanol, Octocrylene, Volatile Silicones and Petrolates.

Lichtena® SKIN SOLARS Spray Milk SPF 50+ is formulated to minimize the risk of allergy and is NICKEL TESTED *.

How to use

Lichtena® SKIN SOLARS Spray Milk SPF 50+ is practical and quick to apply, it is easily absorbed and leaves no residue. Spray 4 or 5 times on each area of the body to be protected (eg forearm) before exposing yourself to the sun, avoiding steaming directly on the face.

In addition, the EU recommendations recommend:

• Keep babies and small children out of direct sunlight, protect them with a t-shirt, hat and sunglasses
• Avoid exposing children to the sun from 12 noon to 4 pm.
• Apply the sunscreen abundantly and evenly on the affected parts, avoiding leaving untreated areas and massaging until completely absorbed. By reducing this amount, the level of protection is also reduced.
• Frequently renew the application during exposure to maintain constant protection, especially after swimming or drying, even if water resistant products are used.
