Cream indicated for very dry skin or skin with cutaneous xerosis

Skin dryness can depend on a defect in the protective hydrolipidic barrier: the epidermis lacks hydration factors, capable of maintaining the optimal level of hydration; the hydrolipidic mantle is deficient in ceramides and epidermal lipids which keep it compact and intact, leading to a loss of transepidermal water (TEWL).
The skin, devoid of these elements, thus loses its natural elasticity and appears rough, flaky and itchy . In these conditions we speak of "dry skin" or, in medical language, "xerotica".

The triggers of dry or xerotic skin can be:

• Physiological: genetic predisposition, menopause, aging
• Exogenous: climatic factors, unbalanced diet, use of unsuitable hygiene products

Formula

Lichtena® Lenixer Restructuring Body Cream has a unique formulation which, thanks to the exclusive association of the ldractivePLUS complex with emollient and anti-itch active ingredients , acts on the skin with a triple effect:

• Long-lasting hydration. The ldractivePLUS complex, consisting of a blend of patented active ingredients, has a double value: it reconstitutes the NMF, thus retaining water inside the epidermis, and stimulates the production of ceramides, favoring the restoration of the skin barrier. Not only is hydration improved, it is also maintained for a long time *.
• Reduction of itching: thanks to Zanthalene, a patented active ingredient of plant origin, even very dry and flaky sensitive skin finds relief and comfort from itching from the first application of the treatment **.
• Intense nourishment: the combination of emollients of natural origin - Sweet Almond Oil, Rice Oil, Shea Butter - provides the lipids necessary to restore the hydrolipidic film, intensely nourishing and reducing the sensation of "tightening" skin.

How to use

We recommend applying Lichtena® Lenixer 1-2 times a day on previously cleansed skin.
To increase the effectiveness of the treatment, it is recommended to use a cleanser with an extra delicate base such as Lichtena® Body Cleanser, to take care of the skin and cleanse it, without attacking it.
