The combination of active ingredients with antioxidant activity contained in Lipotech400® helps reduce the damage caused by the excessive presence of free radicals.

Lipotech 400® can be used, as an adjuvant, when oxidative stress is underway due to an increase in free radicals in the tissues, particularly in the cells of the nervous system. Effective in the treatment of diabetic neuropathy in particular on the symptoms accompanying this pathology: pain, numbness, sensory loss, paraesthesia, dysasthesia, neuropathic pain.

COMPOSITION

ALPHA LIPOIC ACID: Enzymatic cofactor of considerable importance, it participates in the transformation of glucose and fatty acids into energy. What makes alpha lipoic acid unique is that it works in water and fat, unlike the more common antioxidants (vitamins C and E), and appears to be able to recycle antioxidants such as Vitamin C and glutathione after they have been completely consumed. Promotes the endogenous synthesis of glutathione (an important antioxidant capable of eliminating harmful substances). The alpha lipoic acid is then able to increase the efficiency of insulin, it can improve and regulate the transport of glucose inside the cells using pathways independent from those of the insulin itself. Numerous studies (Aladin-II of 2005, Sidney 2 of 2006, published in the journal Current Pharmaceutical Design) have now highlighted the efficacy of ALA as a therapeutic adjuvant in the treatment of diabetic neuropathy. The mechanism of action of ALA in experimental diabetic neuropathy includes the reduction of oxidative stress along with the improvement of blood flow to the nerves, the speed of nerve conduction and other measures of nerve function.

CISTINE : Amino acid precursor of glutathione. It has a detoxifying action by eliminating harmful substances through the bile. Fundamental for the keratinization process, i.e. for the synthesis of the keratin protein, important for the structure of nails and hair.

FOLIC ACID : Vitamin of group B participates in keeping homocysteine levels low by acting on the metabolism of fats.

INOSITOL : Vitamin of group B, participates in the metabolism of sugars and fats. Inositol, which stimulates the production of lecithin (phosphatidylcholine) in the body, is used for its ability to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood. The action of lecithin, in fact, is to clean the walls of the arteries of lipid deposits and convey them to the liver (where they are partly eliminated through the bile). Likewise, inositol prevents this organ from accumulating too many lipids (hepato-protective action against steatosis).

VITAMIN E : Protects cell membranes from free radicals. It acts synergistically with alpha lipoic acid and cysteine in maintaining optimal levels of glutathione. It is the antioxidant vitamin par excellence, it protects the lipids of cell membranes and LDL (low density lipoprotein), the main target of free radicals. Thanks to carnosine (enzyme) it clears away free radicals.

VITAMIN C : Water-soluble vitamin with antioxidant action. Immunostimulant.

SELENIUM METHIONINE : Element that acts mainly as a component of the antioxidant enzyme glutathione peroxidase, which in turn works together with vitamin E in preventing damage to cell membranes produced by free radicals. Thanks to its ability to protect cell membranes from oxidation, selenium has a protective effect against cardiovascular diseases. It plays an antagonistic role against heavy metals, such as mercury, cadmium and silver.

ZINC : Mineral with immunostimulating action. Helps keep Super oxide dismutase levels high. Manganese 1 mg Participates in the transformation of glucose into energy in the mitochodra. Activates the enzymes necessary to digest and synthesize fatty acids and cholesterol, helping to metabolize carbohydrates and proteins.

DOSAGE : It is recommended to take 1 or 2 tablets a day, preferably before meals.

CONTRAINDICATIONS : Contraindicated in cases of ascertained hypersensitivity to one of the components. Do not use in pregnancy, in children under 6 years.

WARNINGS : Do not exceed the recommended dose. Keep out of the reach of children under 6 years of age.
