Class I sterile medical device.

Urinary catheter, hydrophilic, disposable, self-lubricating with sterile saline solution and collection bag integrated in the package. Hydration of the catheter is instantaneous and takes place in a sterile environment.
The surface of the catheter is made with Urotonic Surface Technology: the combination of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and the saline solution present in the envelope makes the coating of the LoFric Hydro-Kit catheter isotonic with the urine, after activation.
The packaging of each single product allows safe catheterization in any situation: sachet with sterile water integrated in the package; 1,000 ml graduated urine collection bag; buttonhole to hang the kit or facilitate the support of the bag.
Sterilized by irradiation.

All the materials used are tested non-toxic, medical grade and biocompatible materials.

Warnings

The LoFric Hydrokit catheter is for single use only. Once used, the unique surface coating deteriorates and the catheter is no longer sterile. Risks associated with reuse can be: increased adhesion, pain, bleeding, urinary tract infections and long-term strictures and epididymitis.
