Inofolic HP what it is for
Food supplement based on myo-inositol, alpha-lactalbumin and folic acid useful for providing an additional share of these substances, in case of reduced dietary intake or increased need.
Myo-inositol is a molecule normally produced by our body and present in some foods. Its physiological role is to mediate the body's response to stimuli from various hormones, such as insulin and FSH, the follicle stimulating hormone. Insulin is the hormone that regulates sugar metabolism, while FSH stimulates the growth of follicles until ovulation. The action of both these hormones is altered in women with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and several clinical studies have shown that the continuous integration of myo-inositol can be useful in normalizing the metabolic and hormonal profile of these women.
Alpha-lactalbumin is a whey protein capable of improving intestinal absorption of myo-inositol. This property is fundamental in "myo-inositol-resistant" subjects who do not respond effectively to supplementation with myo-inositol alone.
Folic acid is a water-soluble vitamin of group B. It is involved in the synthesis of DNA, RNA and proteins, in the process of cell division and in the repair of chromosomes. It contributes to the normal growth of maternal tissues in pregnancy, and its deficiency can cause an increase in intrafollicular homocysteine with a consequent reduction in oocyte quality. Furthermore, scientific studies have shown that a reduced intake of folic acid is often related to defects in fetal growth and to the development of those of the neural tube. Dietary folic acid supplementation increases the state of maternal folate.

How is Inofolic HP used
The recommended posology is as follows:
We recommend taking one sachet twice a day between meals.
To ensure a constant supply of inositol it is necessary to take the two sachets 12 hours apart.
Dissolve the contents in a glass of water.
