Description

Methylsulfonylmethane is a direct donor of biologically active sulfur, that is, it does not require complicated metabolic conversions, unlike sulfur amino acids. MSM is non-toxic, with high gastric tolerability. Methylsulfonylmethane promotes the regeneration of damaged tissue (cartilage). The bioavailability of sulfur is a critical factor for the functional integrity of collagen and elastin. Sulfur constitutes 1.3% of the dry weight of cartilage and forms the bridges that connect the collagen fibrils, determining their strength and structure. The breaking of these bridges can contribute to the wear of the cartilages at the base of the arthritic processes.

Glucosamine stimulates the metabolism of chondrocytes and proteoglycans favoring the construction of new cartilage and blocking the excessive destruction of the existing one. The glucosamine concentration contained in Loxart does not cause insulin resistance or gastric heaviness.

Chondroitin sulfate is the most important GAG of joint cartilage. It contributes to the elasticity of the cartilage and inhibits its degradation by the elastase and collagenase enzymes. Increases the concentration of hyaluronic acid by improving joint viscosity.

Boswellia ES in AKBA Boswellic acids hinder the formation of leukotriene B4 (cause of acute inflammation) starting from arachidonic acid in a dose dependent manner. This action would be due to selective inhibition of 5-lipoxygenase, while it does not seem capable of influencing cyclo-oxygenase and 12-lipoxygenase, therefore it avoids the undesirable effects on the stomach and kidney typical of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Furthermore, there is an inhibition activity, in vitro, of elastases and hyaluronidases, proteolytic enzymes known to be destructive to cartilage, produced by leukocytes recalled by chemoptactic phenomena in the place where inflammation is present.
For this reason, the action of Boswellic acids in the joint is not only symptomatic but also useful in preventing the thinning of the joint cartilage facilitated by the enzymes mentioned above.

Curcumin inhibits the COX 1 and COX 2 enzymes responsible for local inflammation. Slows down bone demineralization.

Type 2 collagen main component of the main cartilage. It desensitizes the immune system to joint collagen thereby reducing pain caused by rheumatoid and arthritic joint inflammation.

Vitamin D3 is the most important form of the 5 forms of vitamin D. Essential for the optimal use of calcium as it helps its absorption and deposition in the bones, thus promoting its strengthening. A deficiency of vitamin D can lead to: reduced calcium absorption> reduced calcium> increased PTH> increased bone turnover in particular resorptive activity> osteoporosis> fractures.

Selenium L-Methionine amino acid based on sulfur . Increases the production of cartilage tissue. Natural antioxidant of free radicals.

How to use

2 tablets per day (1 in the morning and 1 in the evening) according to the doctor's instructions. Take the tablet preferably on a full stomach.
