Food supplement based on Berberis aristata, L-acetyl carnitine, alpha-lipoic acid, Milk thistle, Polygonum cuspidatum, coenzyme Q10 and vitamin D3.
L-acetyl carnitine is able to guarantee, by crossing the mitochondrial membrane, the regeneration of L-carnitine and the transfer of an acetyl group for oxidative purposes, with consequent enhancement of lipid metabolism. In fact, L-carnitine and its acyl ester function as transporters of fatty acids in the mitochondrial matrix, promoting the B-oxidation process. Alpha-lipoic acid is known for its ability to inhibit the oxidation of LDL cholesterol, reducing an important risk factor for atherosclerotic diseases. Furthermore, it works by optimizing glucose metabolism, reducing the formation of advanced glycosylation complexes responsible for cellular aging.
The extract of Berberis aristata exerts effects favoring the control of cholesterol and plasma triglycerides, thus favoring the functionality of the cardiovascular system and the liver. Thanks to the high standardized concentration of silymarin, the dry extract of milk thistle is useful as an adjuvant of the normal physiological functions of the liver, acting mainly as a liver detoxifier and counteracting the negative effects of free radicals. The silymarin phytocomplex with antioxidant power promotes digestive function thanks to its cholagogue activity (stimulates the flow of bile towards the intestine).
The dry extract of Polygonum cuspitadum contributes to the maintenance of heart function by carrying out an important antioxidant action.
Coenzyme Q10 or ubiquinone represents a fundamental element for the correct functioning of mitochondria, it favors the production of ATP in the presence of oxygen. In addition to its crucial function in the metabolism of cellular energy, coenzyme Q10 also plays an important role as a powerful antioxidant capable of offering excellent protection against free radicals. Vitamin D3 regulates glucose metabolism and improves insulin secretion. Furthermore, it causes an increase in insulin sensitivity by stimulating the production of insulin receptors and an increase in the affinity of insulin for its receptors.

How to use
It is suggested to take 1 tablet a day to be swallowed with plenty of water.
