L-LYSINE HCL
L-Lysine is an essential amino acid and must be introduced with the diet. Lysine is processed in the presence of vitamin C and becomes a constituent of Collagen , the protein that constitutes the scaffolding of connective tissues.
In mammalian proteins, all amino acids are found in the left-handed chemical form (L), so the L- form of this amino acid is preferred in quality food supplements. In people with Herpes it is recommended to increase the dietary intake of Lysine by reducing that of Arginine. Arginine in fact promotes the replication of Herpes viruses, which produce proteins much richer in Arginine than human ones. Lysine metabolically antagonizes Arginine by competing with it in various biological reactions.

USAGE CAUTIONS

HOW TO USE
1 to 2 vegetarian capsules per day
preferably between meals
Swallow 1 to 2 vegetarian capsules a day, with water or fruit juice, preferably between meals. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
