FOLIC ACID : Folic acid is a B vitamin whose recommended daily requirement is 200 mcg. Folic acid is not produced by our body but must be taken with the diet and / or with the use of special food supplements. The use of food supplements containing folic acid serves to compensate for any deficiencies of this vitamin which, in the Western world, represent the most widespread form of hypovitaminosis due to an unbalanced diet. Folic acid performs various functions, in particular it is involved in the metabolism of homocysteine. Even a modest increase in plasma homocysteine levels is now considered a cardiovascular risk factor.

COENZYME Q10 (Ubiquinone) : Coenzyme Q10 has a powerful antioxidant action, protecting against free radicals. It is produced by our cells, but its synthesis decreases with age, or with the intake of certain drugs such as certain beta-blockers or statins (drugs against hypercholesterolemia), or in chronic diseases. Coenzyme Q10 is essential for the correct functioning of the mitochondria, favoring cellular respiration and therefore the increase in energy and muscle strength; its use is therefore useful in conditions of asthenia or overexertion. It is found in high concentration in the heart and its use helps reduce cardiovascular risk.

POLICOSANOLS : policosanols are a mixture of primary aliphatic alcohols isolated from Saccharum officinarum (Sugar cane), whose main component is represented by octacosanol.

FERMENTED RED RICE: Monascus purpureus, obtained from the fermentation of rice, is a precious source of natural statins. Statins act on the 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A reductase enzyme, inhibiting the synthesis of cholesterol. Fermented red rice, taken in correct doses, acts on the metabolism of cholesterol. Monascus has long been known and consumed in Asia both to regulate cholesterol values and to mitigate cardiac risk factors

GUGGUL : Guggul (Commiphora Mukul) has a cholesterol-lowering action. Some studies show that guggulipid has a marked lipid-lowering and above all cholesterol-lowering activity, being able to significantly reduce total cholesterol and LDL (bad) cholesterol.

ASTAXANTHINE : Astaxanthin is a carotenoid with a powerful antioxidant effect.

INDICATIONS :

Omofolin is a food supplement containing Folic Acid, Coenzyme Q10, Policosanols, Fermented Red Rice, Guggul and Astaxanthin. And, suggested in the case of increased need or decreased intake with the diet of the nutrients that compose it. Thanks to its formulation, the product promotes the metabolism of lipids and the balance of body weight.

RECOMMENDED DOSE :

1 capsule per day.

WARNINGS

• Wash your hands carefully before using the product.
• To avoid any contamination, do not touch the tip of the dispenser with your fingers or other objects.
• Do not use if the seal is not intact.
• Do not use the product in case of hypersensitivity to one of the components.
• Discard the remaining solution 30 days after opening.
• Do not use the product after the expiration date.
• In case of redness of the eyes or an unpleasant sensation when wearing the lenses, remove them immediately and consult your ophthalmologist.
