Magneto sulfate is a powder that can be used as a saline laxative, but is also useful as an osmotic purgative.
Characteristics
Ingestion of magnesium sulfate increases the hydration of the stool, giving it a semi-solid or liquid consistency that facilitates its evacuation. Thanks to this action, the release of cholecysto-quinin is stimulated with a consequent increase in intestinal motility.
How to use or Dosage
There are two different dosages depending on the use you want to make of them:
- If you use it as a laxative it is recommended to use 5 to 15 g per day dissolved in 200 ml of water.
- If used as a purgative it is recommended to use 15 to 30 g per day dissolved in 200 ml of water.
Format
Magnesium Sulphate is sold in 30g packs to be dissolved in water.
