Maitake MRL is a derivative of the Grifola frondosa strain. The mushroom powder contains the young fruiting body in the form of biomass grown on sterile substrate (sterilized in an autoclave), in California (USA).

The unique technology used in the cultivation process ensures that the powder is free from contamination with other fungi, pesticides and heavy, allowing a standardized and organic production of the grifola frondosa. The powder is then transported to the Netherlands where it is converted into 500mg tablets of powder and packaged in packs of 90 tablets.

This type of production allows Maitake-MRL not only to provide β-glucans, but also groups of enzymes and secondary metabolites which are the key to supporting the immune system.
