Using the electric breast pump

Turn on the breast pump by pressing the power button. The 2-step milk expressing process begins with the stimulation mode. This mode consists of stimulating at a slow and fast pace until the milk begins to flow. The breast pump will start by default starting with Level 1 of the stimulation mode automatically. There are 9 different intensity levels which can be adjusted by pressing the + and - buttons.

You can see the selected level on the display: When the milk starts flowing, you can switch to pumping mode. To do this, just press. The expressing mode starts with Level 1 and has a slow pace for expressing the milk.

The extract icon will then appear on the right side of the display. The extraction intensity can be adjusted to 9 different levels by pressing + and -.

The simple up / down buttons allow you to control the air gap to adapt it to your comfort level, ensuring the milk flows better. Research has shown that pumping milk is more efficient - you get more milk in less time - by setting a maximum vacuum level during the pumping process. When the pump is running on battery, the battery icon shows how much energy is left. When the battery runs out, the icon flashes.

A timer will activate as soon as you start the extraction. After 30 minutes, the breast pump switches off automatically. Health professionals recommend pumping for 15 minutes per breast. To resume extraction, press the on / off button. To stop the extraction before the end of 30 minutes, press the on / off button. After extraction and in case of transport, always set the switch to OFF to avoid unintentional starting of the breast pump.

Using the manual breast pump

Place the silicone pad into the clear cup adapter. Make sure the silicone pad is positioned correctly over the rim of the cup.

Insert the stopper into the membrane until it is properly engaged.

Insert both parts (membrane and stopper) into the clear cup adapter.

Screw the handle holder onto the top of the membrane. Connect the handle to the holder by hooking it firmly. Then move the stopper to the locked position by pulling the top of the stopper towards the handle of the breast pump.

Carefully push the valve diaphragm into the valve hole until it stops. The valve membrane must be applied correctly to avoid air leaks. Now correctly insert the valve with the membrane into the transparent cup adapter. Screw the bottle firmly onto the clear cup adapter.

Important: MAM recommends using the Easy Start Anti-Colic bottle for breast milk administration
