MANUAL BREAST PUMP
Description
The manual breast pump is used to withdraw and collect breast milk from new mothers. This is product intended for personal use, which should not be shared with other mothers.
1. This breast pump is for home use only. Since it is a compact pump with discreet use, you can take it with you everywhere, to express milk at your convenience and always have supplies of milk available.
2. If your breasts are enlarged (painful or swollen), you can express a small amount of milk before or between feedings to relieve pain and help your baby latch on more easily.
3. If you are away from your baby and want to continue breastfeeding when you are reunited, you need to express your milk regularly to stimulate its flow.
Instructions for use
Note: Make sure you have cleaned and, if necessary, disinfected the correct parts of the breast pump.
After cleaning, follow these steps to assemble the unit:
Phase 1
Insert the breast shield into the funnel section of the pump body. Two sizes of breast cups are available: 24 mm and 27 mm.
The measurement is found directly on the breast shield.
Phase 2
Please fit the white membrane on the valve smoothly.
Make sure the white membrane does not wrinkle.
Phase 3
Insert the valve into the pump body from below. Push the valve in as far as possible.
Phase 4
Screw the pump body clockwise onto the bottle until it is secure.
Phase 5
Insert the stem into the hole of the elastic diaphragm. Push the stem in as far as possible. Place the diaphragm with the stem into the seal seat, make sure that the edge of the diaphragm and the edge of the seal seat fit together well. If there is no "O" shaped sealing ring on the cap at the bottom of the gasket seat, please insert it.
Phase 6
Fix the handle on the diaphragm with the stem, hooking the "U" shaped hole into the groove of the stem. Push the handle onto the seal seat until the latter is well positioned.
Phase 7
Insert the seat of the gasket into the connector hole and screw the gasket clockwise until it is securely fixed.
Pumping
Relax in a comfortable chair (we recommend using cushions to support your back). Press the mounted pump body onto your breast. Make sure the nipple is in the center. Hold the breast shield over the breast with your thumb and forefinger. Support your breast with the palm of your hand. Begin to gently press the handle.
Note: Don't worry if the milk doesn't come out immediately. Relax and continue pumping. Repositioning the breast pump on your breast from time to time can help stimulate milk flow. Try pumping again at another time of day. If the procedure becomes very uncomfortable or painful, stop using the pump and consult your breastfeeding specialist. Close the bottle with a lid after pumping. Disassemble and clean the parts in contact with the breast and milk.
Breast cup size
Make sure your nipple fits correctly into the breast shield. Do not tighten it too much, it is important that the nipple can move freely when expressing breast milk. The breast shield should not be too large, as this may cause pain or less effective expression. There are two sizes of breast cups available: 24 mm and 27 mm. Only one cup size is included with the product.
If you experience pain or discomfort while pumping, please e.g
