Women's Perfume

The first perfume from the Italian fashion house Marni, led by designer Consuelo Castiglioni and in collaboration with Estée Lauder, was launched in 2012 and is a fragrance that reflects a woman's discretion.
As Consuelo Castiglioni herself stated: 'The perfume reflects Marni's fashion […] it is for a woman who dresses for herself, who does not follow trends but is sophisticated. and maybe a little eccentric too.
To meet the need for innovative fragrances, Consuelo Castiglioni proposed a formula developed for her in the past by the perfumer Daniela Andrier for the Givaudan company. The scent was unusual because the characteristics of most perfumes, with floral and fruity notes, were avoided.
In the top note we find the spices of cinnamon and cardamom, made sparkling by bergamot, pink and black pepper and ginger; the woody base of patchouli, vetiver and cedar intertwines with spices and rose oil, dark and intense, creating a singular pyramid. A final touch of incense adds depth and originality.
The individuality of the brand is also reflected in the design of the bottle, which is the memory of an old bottle found at the flea market 20 years earlier; a red lacquer cap and white silk-screened polka dots on the glass are the particular signs of this bottle with classic lines.
The face chosen for the advertisement is Raquel Zimmermann and the photographer Nick Knight.
