Low Environmental Impact Patch

Characteristics

BIO STRIP is an innovative patch with low environmental impact with a support consisting of a bio-resin-based film: these substances derived from potato starch, 100% biocompostable, come from agricultural crops with low water absorption and are particularly environmentally friendly. Water resistant, it adheres perfectly (like a second skin), protects the wound from external agents and promotes the healing process by keeping the environment under the dressing moist without causing maceration.

Support

The support of BIO STRIP is water resistant, soft and anatomic, characterized by rounded corners for a better conformability of the product and a significant increase in comfort for the user. The central part is enlarged to ensure maximum protection even near the central pad. It can be biodegraded quickly in composting systems.

Central pad

The central pad of BIO STRIP is soft, absorbent and has rounded corners to better adapt to the wound. It does not contain preservatives.

Glue

BIO STRIP guarantees high adhesiveness while being a delicate patch that respects the skin thanks to an innovative glue without natural rubber latex and without solvents: its formulation does not generate toxic waste and harmful agents that impact on the workers in the production chain and they are dispersed into the environment.

Packaging

Even the packaging of BIO STRIP is eco-friendly, because it is entirely made of recycled cardboard. Tamper-proof case for greater consumer protection and equipped with a hanger for display. To facilitate the choice of the most suitable format, the shape of the patch is shown on the back of the boxes in 1: 1 scale.

The product is a medical device belonging to class I according to directive 93/42 / EEC.
