Zero-space insulin syringes for subcutaneous injections in insulin therapy.

The syringes are sterile, non-pyrogenic, free latex with a needle directly attached to the syringe.
The needle is very thin and thanks to the FLOMAX technology it allows a high delivery speed of the injectable liquid. The walls of the needle are in fact very thin and this increases the internal diameter of the needle thus facilitating the passage of the injectable liquid. High delivery speed means reduced patient discomfort. The needle has a triple sharpening obtained by means of LASER cutting technologies that allow the absence of burrs and allow an injection with little pain. The needle penetrates the tissues reducing the trauma.
The plastic of the syringe body consists of inert components capable of being compatible with all injectable medicines. The cylinder has a high transparency, an indelible and clear graduated scale that allows a great readability. The piston has a stop device at the end of the stroke which prevents, during the suction phase, the accidental coming out of the same. The dual contact rubber pad is latex free.
The particular shape of the syringe significantly reduces dead space and therefore helps to deliver the useful amount of insulin.

U-100 insulin master aid syringes are packaged in pouches containing 10 syringes. The carton contains 30 syringes.
