Mater Hawthorn High Nature Mother Tincture

Property

The mother tincture of hawthorn is indicated for regulating the functionality of the cardiovascular system, in cases of mild or moderate hypertension; tachycardia, extrasystole and arrhythmias; and to prevent complications in elderly patients, at risk of angina pectoris or heart attack, with influenza or pneumonia.

Furthermore, the hydroalcoholic extract of the plant acts as a natural spasmolytic, sedative and anxiolytic. This relaxing action is especially useful in very nervous patients, in which it reduces emotionality, in states of anxiety, agitation, anguish, in case of insomnia and in menopause disorders.

Finally, the mother tincture of hawthorn has a vasoprotective and anti-sclerotic action, as it influences the metabolism of collagen, preventing its destruction. This property is useful for strengthening blood vessel walls and thereby preventing cardiovascular disease.
