Use and doses

The diet must be supplemented with natural proteins and other nutrients in the quantities prescribed by the doctor to achieve the required needs.
The recommended dilution is 1 to 20 w / v (for example 5g of XP2 Maxamaid in 100ml of water).

Osmolality

The osmolality of XP2 Maxamaid at this dilution is 349 mosm / Kg.

It can be taken as a drink or as a porridge; in this case, water or a permitted diluted drink must be consumed at the same time.

XP2 Maxamaid can be used as a food module to be added as an amino acid supplement to PKU Anamix Infant during weaning.

Flavoring is not recommended for infants before six months.

Important note

The powdered formula is not sterile so it is recommended, where possible, to prepare it immediately before administration and to consume it within 1 hour.
If prepared in advance, refrigerate quickly at 2 to 4 ° C and consume within 24 hours. Shake well before use. Do not use the product after 24 hours from its preparation. Discard the reconstituted and unused product. Clean your baby's teeth after each feed and especially before bedtime.
