Caution

This equipment requires regular periodic maintenance in order to guarantee the potability requirements of the treated drinking water and the maintenance of improvements as declared by the manufacturer.
This system reduces, in the treated water, substances that can alter its taste and odor, such as chlorine, as well as some metals such as lead and copper - if these substances are present in your tap water - as well as reducing the temporary hardness, if it exists in significant quantities in the water used for filtration, thus preventing the formation of limescale. These filtering system performances are tested according to internationally accepted standards as required by ministerial decree n. 25/2012.

The filter can be used for four weeks or for a quantity of water equal to 100 liters of filtration.

The BRITA water filter must only be used with drinking water that meets the requirements of the applicable legislation regarding the quality of water intended for human consumption.

The filtered water obtained from the applied treatment may differ from the values ​​indicated in Annex I, Part C of Legislative Decree no. 31 of 2001 for the following parameters:
Ammonium *: During their life cycle, filters can release up to 5 mg. Throughout the life of the cartridge the average value is 0.3 mg per liter.
Concentration of hydrogen ions (pH): the maximum lowering of the pH value is 4.5. The average sag achieved over the life of the cartridge is 5.5. Temporary hardness: it can be reduced, on average, up to 10 degrees of French hardness. The reduction depends on the degree of hardness of the drinking water used for filtration. This information can be requested by you from the aqueduct of the place where you draw the water.

It is scientifically proven that the alteration of these parameters by the filter has no adverse effects on health.
