This line includes cotton gauze products. Gauze is a fabric composed of intertwined cotton threads. The gauze is hypoallergenic as it is made of 100% cotton and allows skin transpiration and is hydrophilic because it must absorb blood and body fluids. The dressing gauze products marked with the wording "sterile" have been subjected to a sterilization cycle which ensures the absence of pathogenic organisms. The guarantee of sterility allows these products to be placed in direct contact with the wound or sore.
