Medicomp® Extra Hartmann Tnt Tablets

Class IIA Medical Device. Sterile. Single use

The product is an inactive device. The tablets are made of a mixture of viscose and polyester fibers: the viscose part is between 67% and 70%, the remaining part is made of polyester fibers. It is free of binding agents and optical brighteners, it is permeable to air, available in six layers. The tablets can be unfolded to get a larger size. The sterile devices are packaged in paper-film polylaminate bags.

The device is used for general wound treatment, such as in surgical procedures, which includes its use

• As a primary dressing on skin wounds;
• As a wound cleaning device and cleansing of intact skin and skin wounds;
• As a support material for example for disinfection or ointments;
• As a secondary dressing for acute and chronic wounds;
• As a mechanical barrier and for the absorption of body fluids.

In addition, it can be used as a pad to protect against mechanical damage.
Sterile packed in accordance with DIN EN ISO 11607. Steam sterilized in accordance with DIN EN ISO 17665-1 with a validated process.

Optical brighteners: absent.
