Adhesive dressing

MEDIHONEY HCS is a hybrid device that combines colloidal hydrogel technology (CMC) with MEDIHONEY MEDICAL HONEY ANTIBACTERIAL (63%) and a patented super absorbent polymer (SAP) for increased fluid handling capacity.
The bandage is designed for dry and / or slightly exuding wounds; CMC / SAP combined with MEDIHONEY forms a hydrophilic gel that blocks the moisture of the lesion in the bandage itself, modulating the maceration. MEDIHONEY HCS, formulated in this way, is moisturizing, soothing and refreshing.
The degree of transpiration is: MVTR = 595 (g / sqm / 24 h). (MVTR = Moisture vapor transmission rate)
It does not contain glycerin.
The dressing is waterproof.
Sterile.
Available with both ADHESIVE and NON-ADHESIVE edges.

The MEDIHONEY HCS version with ADHESIVE edge does not require the application of a secondary dressing.

Indications:
• diabetic foot ulcers
• ulcers of the lower limbs (venous, arterial and of mixed etiology)
• partial depth pressure injuries
• 1st and 2nd degree partial thickness burns
• surgical wounds
• traumatic wounds
• sampling sites
