The fatty acids of the Omega 3 series are normally present in “marine” foods: fish and crustaceans, but also some vegetable oils, in particular that of flax seeds, contain Omega 3. This is why Mediplant offers a solution of vegetable origin. It is a flaxseed oil suitable for vegetarians and vegans that promotes the physiological lipid metabolism and naturally contains Alpha Linoleic Acid (ALA) and Omega 9 (Oleic Acid), which can be directed by the body to the production of EPA and DHA . Recent studies have demonstrated the numerous beneficial effects of EPA and DHA on cholesterol and triglycerides, on inflammation, in the treatment of psioriasis, on weight loss and on osteoporosis.
