Intended use
Compression stocking with tubular or flat weave for compression of the lower limbs, mainly used in the treatment of diseases of the venous or lymphatic vascular system.
Indications
Chronic venous pathology: CEAP C0s - C3
Postoperative reperfusion edema
Post-traumatic edema, postoperative edema, occupational-induced edema that forces one to stand or sit, drug-induced edema that cannot be replaced
Stasis disorders due to periods of immobility (paresis and partial paresis of the extremities)
Superficial vein thrombosis

Inflammatory dermatitis of the leg
Contraindications
Medical compression stockings must not be worn in the following cases:
Advanced occlusive peripheral arterial disease (in the presence of one of the following parameters: ABI <0.5, arterial pressure in the ankle <60 mmHg, pressure at the big toe <30 mmgH or TcPO2 <20 mmHg on the back of the foot). If inelastic materials are used, compression therapy can also be attempted with ankle blood pressure between 50 and 60 mmHg, under close clinical control.
Decompensated heart failure (NYHA class III + IV)
Septic phlebitis
Flegmasia cerulea dolens
In the following cases the appropriate therapy should be decided after considering any risks and benefits and after choosing the most suitable compression garment:
Severe exuding dermatitis
Intolerance to compression material
Strong paresthesia of the limbs
Advanced peripheral neuropathy (e.g. related to diabetes mellitus)
Primary chronic polyarthritis
