Silver represents a classic weapon in the treatment of ulcers, because even in small concentrations it demonstrates its lasting effectiveness against a broad spectrum of bacteria.

The peculiarity of mediven ulcer consists in the elemental silver incorporated stably in the fiber material. It prevents the formation of odors and prevents the development of resistance by germs. Thus, mediven ulcer has a prolonged antibacterial and antifungal effect even against antibiotic-resistant germs.

Advantages of the product

1 pair of mediven ulcer, with a pressure of 20 mmHg at the level of the ankle, is intended for permanent compression 24 hours a day. This moderate pressure at rest is well tolerated by the patient and allows continuity of compression treatment. The second mediven ulcer sock serves as a replacement during washing for continuous ulcer therapy.
