Mepilex Border Lite Safetac® Thin Polyurethane Foam All-In-One Dressing

Mepilex® Border Lite is an all-in-one thin polyurethane foam dressing for low exuding wounds.

It can be used for chronic injuries and acute wounds that heal by secondary intention, such as post-operative incisions, traumatic injuries or sutured wounds.

This dressing includes Safetac®, the original adhesive silicone contact layer that minimizes pain.

Thin and conformable, ideal for dressing wounds on hands, feet and fingers. Very subtle and discreet, to allow patients to carry out all their usual activities.

Safetac dressings minimize pain and trauma when dressing changes.

Waterproof.

A barrier against viruses and bacteria (> 25nm in size).

This soft, conformable, edged polyurethane foam dressing allows for a moist wound environment to be maintained. This way, the wound will be in an optimal environment for healing.

It is recommended to use Mepilex Border Lite:

• for the treatment of low exuding chronic wounds, for example diabetic foot ulcers
• for the dressing of acute injuries, such as traumatic or post-operative wounds
• for wound dressing in difficult areas such as hands, feet and fingers
• to maintain a moist wound environment, providing ideal conditions for healing
