Meritene® DIABET CREAM Nestlè Health Science - Food for Special Medical Purposes

Meritene Diabet Creme is part of the Meritene range, designed by Nestlé Health Science to meet the needs of all those who for health reasons must follow specific dietary indications. This high-protein product, composed of low glycemic index carbohydrates, is specially designed for people with diabetes. Not only that: thanks to its soft and creamy consistency, Meritene Diabet Creme can effectively integrate the nutrition of those who have swallowing or chewing problems in order to prevent or treat malnutrition.

A jar provides 11 grams of protein, 5.9 grams of lipids and 18 grams of carbohydrates, for a total of 178 calories per serving. It can be used to supplement the diet, with an expected consumption ranging from 1 to 3 doses per day. Gluten-free and containing a clinically insignificant amount of lactose.

The closed package is kept at room temperature in a cool and dry place away from heat sources. The opened package must be resealed, stored in the refrigerator and used within 24 hours. UHT sterilized; packaged in a protected atmosphere.

HOW TO USE

1 to 3 jars / day as a supplement to the daily diet; 6-8 jars / day according to medical prescription if used as the only source of nourishment.
