Mg400 Named Food Supplement
Mg400 is a food supplement based on Magnesium in organic form (Magnesium lactate), Vitamin B6, Niacin and Biotin. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function and to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. Magnesium, Niacin and Vitamin B6 help reduce tiredness and fatigue. Magnesium, Niacin, Vitamin B6 and Biotin contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system and to normal psychological function.
The magnesium content, in an adult organism, is about 25 g and about 50/60% is found in the bone. The rest is contained in the muscles, soft tissues, heart, liver, kidneys and digestive system. Under normal conditions, the daily requirement is 6 mg per kilo of body weight. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the requirement increases significantly, up to 30 mg per kilo of body weight during breastfeeding. If the intake of magnesium is insufficient, already after a few days, the first symptoms of deficiency may occur:
- mood disorders (agitation, restlessness, distress)
- lack of coordination, tremor, muscle weakness or cramps
- loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting
- sleep disorders
- tachycardia
- memory difficulties.
However, these are widespread symptoms and can also be traced back to other problems, so if you find one or more deficiency disorders, it would be advisable to contact your doctor to be able to verify the exact cause. In case of magnesium deficiency, it is advisable to use food supplements suitable for the purpose, or to vary your diet in such a way as to enrich it with foods that contain this precious alkaline metal. Foods naturally rich in magnesium are: vegetables, whole grains, legumes, fresh fruit, dried fruit, soy and its derivatives. Particularly rich are the dark green leafy vegetables (spinach, herbs and ribs). Magnesium is also indicated to counteract tiredness and fatigue, especially in those situations of increased need and during periods of particular tension, and lead the body to consume a greater quantity. Even intense physical exertion, through sweat, causes a noticeable loss of magnesium. With advancing age, the ability to absorb it decreases.
Conclusions : too often, the importance of this precious element is underestimated. This is why proper nutrition and, when necessary, supplementation of magnesium, can be useful in case of increased need or decreased intake of this mineral.
How to use
One sachet a day, dissolved in a glass of water.
Information on the individual components of Mg400
GLUTEN FREE
Magnesium : is an essential mineral for human life and is involved in more than 300 metabolic reactions. It is essential for the most important biological processes: it participates in cellular energy metabolism, contributes to the synthesis of proteins, useful for muscle function, promotes the functioning of the nervous system and electrolyte balance.
Vitamin B6 : The term Vitamin B6 includes three compounds: pyridoxine, pyridoxal and pyridoxamine. Vitamin B6 intervenes in the metabolism of amino acids and glycogen and therefore contributes to the good use of proteins introduced with food; it is also involved in some reactions of the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats. Being also involved in the synthesis of some neurotransmitters, it contributes to the proper functioning of the nervous system, both at the neuro-muscular and at the psychological level.
Niacin : plays an important role in energy metabolism as it is a precursor of two molecules that participate with a coenzymatic function in numerous redox reactions involved in catabolic processes, such as glycolysis, and anabolic ones, such as the synthesis of fatty acids and amino acids. A diet with insufficient Niacin intake leads, over time, to the onset of a pathology called "pellagra" which manifests itself with generalized dermatitis, neurological alterations (dementia) and digestive system (diarrhea).
Biotin : is a water-soluble Vitamin, of group B, containing sulfur. It plays a fundamental role in the metabolism of lipids, carbohydrates and proteins. Magnesium and Biotin intervene, in synergy, in the functioning of some important carboxylases, fundamental enzymes for energy metabolism as they are two important enzymatic cofactors.
