Lower airway treatment

MicroAIR U100 is designed to treat lower respiratory tract diseases such as asthma, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), bronchitis, bronchiolitis, bronchiectasis and bronchopneumonia. With a Median Mass Aerodynamic Diameter (MMAD) of 4.5 μm, the MicroAIR U100 enables drug deposition in the lower airways.

Omron MicroAir U100 Mesh Technology

The MicroAIR U100 model uses a unique mesh technology that makes it more efficient¹ and comfortable to use than traditional nebulizers. The retina is a small metal plate with 6000 microscopic holes. The liquid drug is pushed through the mesh at high speed, forming a visible mist of easy-to-inhale aerosol droplets.

OMRON first launched this technology in 1994 and we have refined and perfected the concept ever since.

The mesh technology, unlike the compressor technology used in standard nebulizers, allows for the silent formation of aerosol. You can use it with discretion, without disturbing others.
