The MICROLET ^™ NEXT Lancing Device is designed to reduce pain and test easily.
Before using the lancing device, follow these simple tips.

Before

• Wash your hands thoroughly with warm soapy water before testing
• Avoid using alcohol-based products to clean your hands
• Gently massage the finger from the base towards the tip to encourage the formation of the blood drop
• Use a new MICROLET ^™ lancet for each test so that the needle is sharp and sterile
• Select the puncture depth that best suits your needs

During

• For convenience, prick the side rather than the tip of the finger
• Prick a different finger on each test - avoid the index finger and thumb
• Press the lancing device firmly against the area to be licked when sampling

After

• Use the appropriate eject button to remove the lancet
• Dispose of the MICROLET ^™ lancet using a sharps container after use
