It is indicated as a protein substitute in the nutritional management of children over 1 year of age with hyperleucinemia.

Dosage and use
The daily dose of MILUPA LEU 2-PRIMA required to meet the daily protein requirement is subject to age, body weight and individual tolerance level to leucine. This dose, therefore, must be periodically adjusted by the doctor.
The daily amount of MILUPA LEU 2-PRIMA should be administered in 3-5 single portions in addition to calculated doses of other foods.
Diets based on MILUPA LEU 2-PRIMA must satisfy the daily requirement of energy, essential fatty acids and leucine.
When used in addition to beverages, do not exceed the maximum concentration of 10g per 100ml.
