MILUPA MSUD 2-SECUNDA is a blend of pure L-amino acids free of isoleucine, leucine and valine with vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

It is indicated as a protein substitute in the nutritional management of children and adolescents aged 8 to 14 with maple syrup urine disease or leucinosis

Dosage and use

The daily dose of MILUPA MSUD 2-SECUNDA required to meet the daily protein requirement is subject to age, body weight and individual tolerance level to isoleucine, leucine and valine. This dose, therefore, must be periodically adjusted by the doctor.
The daily amount of MILUPA MSUD 2-SECUNDA should be administered in 3-5 single servings in addition to calculated doses of other foods.
Diets based on MILUPA MILUPA MSUD 2-SECUNDA must meet the daily requirement of energy, essential fatty acids, isoleucine, leucine and valine.
When used in addition to beverages, do not exceed the maximum concentration of 10g per 100ml.
