MILUPA PKU 2-PRIMA is a phenylalanine-free blend of pure L-amino acids with carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals.

It is indicated as a protein substitute in the nutritional management of children aged 1 to 8 with phenylketonuria and hyperphenylalaninemia.

It does not contain phenylalanine

Dosage and use

The daily dose of MILUPA PKU 2-PRIMA required to meet the daily protein requirement is subject to age, body weight and individual tolerance level to phenylalanine. This dose, therefore, must be periodically adjusted by the doctor.
The daily amount of MILUPA PKU 2-PRIMA should be administered in 3-5 single servings in addition to calculated doses of other foods.
MILUPA PKU 2-PRIMA- based diets must meet the daily requirement of energy, essential fatty acids and phenylalanine.
When used in addition to beverages, do not exceed the maximum concentration of 10g per 100ml.
