Mini Conical Interprox® PHD 1.0 Pipe Cleaners

Interprox® mini conical has been designed to eliminate the oral biofilm (bacterial plaque) that accumulates in the interproximal spaces of 1.0 mm * and is particularly suitable for posterior teeth, thanks to its conical head, or anterior teeth.

* The dimensions of its tapered head, adapted to the posterior interproximal spaces, reach an interproximal space of at least 1.0 mm (PHD = 1.0)

Measurement guide

The numerical coding for measurements or PHD (Passage Hole Diameter) indicates the size of the smallest space in which the toothbrush can be introduced.
It is important to introduce the toothbrush respecting the interproximal space, so that it is the filaments and not the metal wire that are in contact with the teeth.

If the wire touches the gum or bends, it is recommended that you use a toothbrush with a PHD or smaller size.

Your dentist or dental hygienist can help you determine the size of the interproximal space and the toothbrush that best suits your needs.

Characteristics

The shape of Interprox® mini conical facilitates a perpendicular entry into the anterior and posterior interproximal spaces, avoiding causing damage to the gums. The cap can be joined to the handle to extend it and reach even the back areas of the mouth. In addition, thanks to the memory-free flexibility of the handle and neck, the toothbrush can adapt to each user to maintain perpendicular entry into these areas.

Interprox® mini conical also incorporates a non-slip part to ensure better grip and control, resulting in a more precise and comfortable cleaning.

How to use it

Use the most appropriate Interprox® toothbrush for each space. The toothbrush must be introduced carefully, so that it is the filaments and not the wire that are in contact with the teeth.

Move the brush from the inside to the outside, without spinning it.

Repeat these movements from the inner surface of the teeth.

Flex the neck (not the wire) and / or body of the toothbrush to form the proper angle.
