The Personal Protective Equipment MM-4 is a respirator built in 4 layers with highly technological materials in non-woven fabric, melt-blown and hot air cotton intended to protect the respiratory tract from: drops and non-oily particles, oily particles and dust. The respirator model is valveless.
The mask is a Category III Personal Protective Equipment in compliance with Annex I of Regulation (EU) 2016/425. Complies with the requirements of the harmonized standard "EN 149: 2001 + A1: 2009 - Protective devices for respiratory tracts; Filtering half masks against dust; Requirements, tests, marking". On the basis of the standard, the respirator is PPE category III and class FFP2 NR (NR = not reusable).
The mask can be used in environments with a lot of dust and dust produced by machinery with coal, iron, raw minerals, quartz or machinery that processes cotton, flour and other materials.
The filtering action makes the device effective for the protection of the respiratory tract from aerosols - very fine droplets.
Each respirator is unisex, in one size and packed in a single silk-screened envelope containing user manual with declaration of conformity.
The device has also printed on the fabric the manufacturer's logo, the model, the CE mark with the number of the certifying body, the reference standards together with the initials FFP2 NR.

How to use

1. Open the device using both hands making sure the nose bridge is on the outer side up.
2. Place the mask over the nose and mouth, place it under the chin with the nasal bridge facing upwards.
3. Bring both straps behind your ears.
4. Using the fingertips, make the nasal bridge adhere to the nose by pushing from the outside to the inside. During this trial phase of the mask the user may experience a lower supply of oxygen flow.
5. Before entering the work area, take breathing tests to check for leaks or drafts in the mask.
5.1 Place both hands on the mask and inhale deeply taking care not to change the position. If the user experiences negative pressure inside the mask it is normal. If the user feels air leaks around the nose, he must repeat the mask positioning steps 1 to 4.
6. If there are no leaks or leaks of oxygen then the contaminated area can be entered.
